Paul Braungart, founder of Regional Capital Group (RCG), has closed in excess of $5 billion of transactions during his 25+ year career in real estate finance. His experience includes the creation of successful lending funds including private equity, hedge funds, and leveraged funds focused primarily on real estate finance. With more than two decades of experience in commercial real estate loan origination, underwriting, and loan servicing, he manages the day to day operation of the company.

An entrepreneur since 1980, Mr. Braungart has created companies specializing in real estate lending, mortgage and investment banking, real estate development and investment. He has served as a consultant to real estate developers and lenders in all aspects of real estate development and finance including the reposition and construction of residential and commercial real estate. As the founder and CEO of companies in diverse industries, he developed systems for business and financial management, coordinated marketing efforts and funding needs. He has also acquired distressed companies and real estate assets and sold them successfully.

Mr. Braungart is a member of various industry associations and serves as a board member on several charitable foundations. He is married with three children and is a graduate of the University of Delaware.
