Paul Braungart, founder of Regional Capital Group (RCG), has directed commercial loan originations in excess of $2 billion during his 25+ year career in real estate finance. His experience includes the creation of various successful lending funds focused on real estate finance. In addition to the private funds that Mr. Braungart has founded and managed, he has also been an advisor to a large hedge fund. With more than two decades of experience in commercial real estate loan underwriting, direct lending and investment, and loan servicing, he directs the day to day responsibilities of the company.

An entrepreneur since 1980, Mr. Braungart's experience includes the founding of companies specializing in real estate lending, commercial mortgage banking, real estate development and investment. As the founder and CEO of numerous companies, he developed systems for business and financial management and coordinated marketing efforts for these companies. He spearheaded the development of customized loan servicing and pipeline tracking software developed and implemented in a variety of his companies. Mr. Braungart has also acquired struggling businesses in need of a new organizational structure and business plan, and sold them successfully after a turnaround was complete. He has served as a consultant to various real estate developers and lenders in all aspects of real estate development and funding.

Mr. Braungart is a member of the National Mortgage Bankers Association and the regional chapter of the Builders League. He graduated from the University of Delaware. and is married with three children.
